Why buy local flowers?
Around 80% of the flowers you'll find in stores are imported from outside the United States. So when you buy local, you're supporting the farmers and the economic health of the communities in which you both live and work. As a small-scale farm, we responsibly grow our flowers with an emphasis on soil health and water conservation, plus we're able to cultivate a much more diverse range of flowers, many of which cannot be imported. Local flowers are also fresher, more vibrant and will last longer than flowers that have been cut, stored and shipped from afar. Thank you for considering us for your flower needs!
Tips for longer vase life:
Place flowers in a clean vase
Remove any leaves that fall below the water line
Keep your flowers out of heat and direct sunlight
Refresh the water every day (or at least as often as you can remember!)
Keep flowers away from ripening fruit (they produce ethylene which will cause some flowers to wilt prematurely)
Remove spent flowers
